Planning Forester ($90, 000 - $110, 000) ​​  Registered, or with the ability to register, with the FPBC as a Registered Professional Forester  At least 5 years of previous experience in related work (Preference given to those with BC Coastal Forestry experience)  Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines​  Experience in writing site plans, collaborating on land use plans and forest landscape or stewardship plans.  Working knowledge of silviculture software with preference given to those with training in RESULTS  Ability to create and manage budgets and proformas. ​ All Applicants: Physically fit and capable of working in coastal terrain Willing to work shifts in remote areas with camp/lodging provided Enjoy learning and challenging themselves Must be organized Excellent communication skills Hold a valid class 5 Driver's License and a clean abstract with no restrictions that would impact the ability to do the job as required Hold a valid OHS Level 1 with transport endorsement (preferred) Embrace safety and lead by example Believe in the benefits of land stewardship Compensation includes an industry-competitive wage, Group Health and Benefits program, Health Care Spending Account, Employee and Family Assistance Program, and periodic bonus programs.
